Privacy Policy
Wise Woman. Effective October 4, 2026.
The short version: you don't need an account, we don't ask for your name or email, we don't keep your conversations, and we never sell your data or show you ads.
Who we are
Wise Woman is an independent app. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@wisewomanrituals.com.
What we store on our server
- An anonymous identifier created when you first use the app. It isn't tied to your name, email, or phone number.
- Your credit balance and history: credits bought, spent, and received as gifts.
- Records of your purchases as reported by Apple, so that credits are granted correctly and each purchase is only redeemed once.
- A scrambled (hashed) device key that lets our server confirm requests come from your device.
- An Apple sign-in identifier, only if you choose Sign in with Apple to receive gift credits. We don't request your name or email from Apple.
- Records of gift credits claimed, so each gift is given once.
Your consultations
When you consult Rowan, what you write is sent through our server to Anthropic, the company whose AI model writes Rowan's replies, and the reply is sent back to you. We do not store the text of your consultations on our server. Anthropic processes it under its terms for business customers; see Anthropic's privacy policy.
Please don't include information you wouldn't want shared with these services, such as full names, addresses, or account numbers.
What stays on your phone
Charms you save to your spellbook are kept only on your device. They are never sent to our server.
What we don't collect
We don't collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, location, or advertising identifiers. We don't use analytics or advertising tools, we don't track you across other apps or websites, and we don't sell or share your data for advertising.
Services we rely on
- Apple handles payments and, if you use it, Sign in with Apple. We never see your payment details.
- Anthropic generates Rowan's replies.
- Cloudflare carries traffic to our server, and DigitalOcean hosts it. Like most internet services, they may briefly log technical information such as IP addresses to keep the service running and secure.
Deleting your data
In the app, open Settings and choose Delete all my data. This removes your identifier, balance, history, and sign-in link from our server, and clears your spellbook from your device. Purchase records are kept in a form no longer connected to you, only so the same purchase can't be redeemed twice.
Deleting the app removes what is on your phone but not what is on our server, so use the in-app option, or email us if you no longer have the app.
Age
Wise Woman is rated 17+ and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the effective date above.
